Refund and Returns Policy
At Whiskey Cask Investments, we take great care to ensure that every client fully understands and approves their investment before any purchase is completed. Because whiskey cask investments are classed as bespoke alternative assets, our refund and returns policy is slightly different from standard retail purchases.
No Automatic Right to Return
Due to the nature of whiskey cask investments, once a purchase has been completed and ownership documents have been issued in your name, we cannot offer automatic refunds or returns. Each cask is individually sourced and legally transferred to you, making it a personalised investment asset rather than a consumer good.
Cooling-Off Period
If you change your mind shortly after confirming your investment, you may be entitled to a short cooling-off period (usually 14 days) provided that:

Ownership has not yet been legally transferred

The cask has not been moved, reserved or bonded under your name
Requests during this period will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Errors or Exceptional Circumstances
If an error has occurred on our part (for example, incorrect cask details or misallocation), we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly. This may involve allocating a replacement cask of equal value or offering a refund where appropriate.
